Thorney Island

Thorney Island lies on the coast of West Sussex near Prinsted, Nutbourne and Emsworth.
Thorney Island is used by the Ministry of Defence for the Baker Barracks of the 47th regiment. The population of the Island is made up entirely of soldiers from 47 Regt RA and 12 Regt RA and their families. Most of Thorney Island including the beach is closed to the public.
