Who can add links?
If you have a web site that is for a business or organisation based in Sussex you are welcome to add your link to Wiki Sussex.
How do I add my link?
If you have just one or two links that you want to add to Wiki Sussex the easiest way is to contact us by email and let us know your web address and location.
If you are a web designer or run a local community web site and would like to be able to add links to Wiki Sussex yourself please ask us about registration of a new login account.
What are the requirements for being included?
Your address should appear in the contact details of your web site so that we can verify you have a local web site.
How much does it cost to add my link?
All links are provided free of charge.
We would be grateful if you could link back to Wiki Sussex on your own links page if you have one.
Where will my link appear?
Links are organised by location. For example, if you have a business located in Lewes then your link will appear on the Links:Lewes page.
All links pages start with the prefix of "Links:" and then the location name.
Please do not add them directly to the main page. The links page will automatically be included on the main page under its own heading.
Which location should I use?
The location should match the contact details on your web site. You should use the main contact address as your location even if your business or organisation serves a different area of Sussex.
Can I add more than one link?
If you have several web sites you can add them all.
Each web address should only appear on just one links page.
How do I format the link?
Example Link:

How do I link back to Wiki Sussex?
We would be grateful if you could link back to Wiki Sussex on your own links page if you have one.
It will help to promote your web link on our site if you link to the page for the town or village that your link appears on. So for example, if you have your site featured on the page for Lewes, then link directly to that page http://www.wikisussex.com/Lewes with the link text of "Lewes - Wiki Sussex", rather than straight to our home page. However, a link to our home page is okay with us too!
The code for linking back to a page is provided at the bottom of every page. Just copy the snippet of code into the HTML of your links page.
